Three cured tobacco leaves on a dark background

Leaf

A Taste of Somewhere

Before a cigar has a formula, it has a place.

A leaf carries more than flavour. It carries climate, cultivation, time and the decisions made long before it reaches the hand.

Place

Nicaragua does not speak with one voice.

Estelí, Jalapa, Condega and Ometepe each belong to a different part of the country, with their own landscape, altitude and growing conditions.

Time

Harvest is only the beginning.

Fermentation, ageing and rest change the leaf slowly — never all at once, never on command.

The blend

A great cigar is not one leaf.

It is the relationship between many of them — how they are selected, balanced and brought together.

That relationship is where the House begins to speak.

The land gives us the leaf. The House gives it a formula.
